Freemasonry is one of the oldest fraternal organizations in
the world. It unites men of good character who, though of different religious,
ethnic or social backgrounds, share a belief in the fatherhood of God and the
brotherhood of mankind. Freemasonry offers a system or blueprint for the good
man to further improve his character and actions through its system of degrees,
symbols, and fellowship opportunities.
One of the oldest social and charitable organizations in the world,
Freemasonry's roots lie in the traditions of the medieval stonemasons who built
our cathedrals and castles.

Brethren I recently received a request for donations for an organization in
Brantford that we supported. In 2005. Brant District Masons provided materials, labor
and funding to erect a replica Masonic Lodge for the Children’s Village in Brantford. We
have been sought out by the organization for additional support for repairs so that they
can continue their village for the children to enjoy and to visit. We have not supported
them since 2005 and I’m asking that we reach out to them with donations so repairs can
commence. I realize that some lodges are struggling financially but anything at all will
help this organization. Whether donations come from members privately or from the
lodge it doesn’t matter as long as we try to fulfill the needs of this worthy organization.
I think of the lecture of Jacobs’ ladder and our principles which are based on Faith, Hope
& Charity so let’s make this happen! We have setup a go-fund me page which is
attached for donations for us to receive. In closing I thank-you in advance for
contributing and considering this worthy cause. Let’s continue to do our part as based
on the principles that we have been taught.
