Minutes Of The Annual Meeting December 20 2007 The meeting opened at 7:30PM with President Steve DeKruyf presiding There were 29 members and 1 guest present as per the attached register sheet. Regrets----Jim Telfer, Harold McComb, Barry Ruffley, Allan Broadly & Allistor Robertson The minutes of the general meeting held May 24th 2007 were read and having no errors or ommisions were adopted as read by Steve DeKruyf. Business arising from the minutes: Jack Herron reported that the repairs to the damages caused by vandles at the Childrens Saftey Village have been completed. Committee Reports: DDGM Report---Jack Herron gave a lengthy report as per the attached sheet. Membership---It was reported that VWBro. Gerald Wright was the only member who had passed to the Grand Lodge above during the past 12 months. Long Range Planning----no report Social----Allan Durnford reported that the social account had a profit of $62.40 for the year. Regalia----Fred Topp read a report sent by Jim Telfer and the report is attached. Masonic Education---Don Elliott reported that a Lodge of Instruction for Installation was held November 22 2007 and that there was no schedule for any futher lodge of instructions at this time. History---Bill Clark reported that he is still compiling history of all lodges of the District and that it will be available in the near future. Aditors Report----Bill Topp reported that the treasurers books were correct and moved that the attached report be accepted , 2nd by Nigel Vas CARRIED New Business: Bill Topp moved that the Association reimburse 1/2 the cost per child who is registered at a Masonichip Program held by any lodge of Brant District until the monies left in the Project account for the Childrens Saftey Village is used up. 2nd by Bill Clark CARRIED It was moved by Nigel Vas and 2nd by Dan Dawson that King Solomon Lodge be reimbursed 1/2 the cost per child for the Masonichip Program held in the fall of 2007. CARRIED It was moved by Bill Topp and 2nd by Dan Dawson that notice be sent to Grand Lodge to change the Constituion to read that the rank of The Grand Secretary shall not exceed the rank of Right Worshipful. A closed ballot was taken and the results were-------FOR-----22 AGAINST-----6 DESTROYED BALLOTS-----1 CARRIED Nominations for DDGM for the next 5 years were as follows: 2008-2009-----------Steve DeKruyf Burford 106 2009-2010-----------Don Elliott Wilson 113 2010-2011-----------Richard Eryre Hiram 319 2011-2012-----------Allan Haggith Onondaga 519 2012-2013-----------No nomination from Scotland 193 Pesident Steve DeKruyf then gave an annual report as per the attached sheet. Results of the Nominating committee for the Associations executive for 2008 were as follows: President------------------Don Elliott 1st Vice President-----Richard Eyre 2nd Vice President----Allan Haggith Secretary-----------------Fred Topp Treasurer-----------------Ron Stinson George Stapleton moved that we accept the nominations as read. The new executive were then placed by Jack Herron and Don Elliott set February 21 2008 for the next executive meeting. A motion for adjournment was made by Ken Griswood
