R.Wor.Bro. William (Bill) Harris District Deputy Grand Master of Brant Masonic District

R. W. Bro. Haggith was born in Brant County and grew up on the family farm in Oakland until making the move to the village of Scotland where he and his wife Marylou have called home for the past 34 years. He attended Oakland Public School, Waterford District High School and Mohawk College in Hamilton where he obtained his diploma in Electronics Engineering. Upon graduating from Mohawk College he began a career with Rogers Communications. Over the 37 years with Rogers he had many opportunities to experience all aspects of the business. He travelled to many US and Canadian locations as the company expanded over the years. As the manager of Network Engineering and Operations for South West Ontario and the Ottawa Region he and the Technical staff were responsible for the ongoing construction, repair and maintenance of a highly diverse and sophisticated design providing video, internet, home and cellular services. He has just recently retired from Rogers and is now spending more time working on his other interest.

R. W. Bro. Haggith and MaryLou, have been married for 34 years and they have one daughter, Brooke. They are members of St. Johns Anglican Church in Brantford. They enjoy spending time on their boat on Lake Erie during the summer and taking the odd downhill ski trip in the winter. He also enjoys motorsports, hunting, fishing and competitive shooting along with home renovations.

Allan has been a member of Onondaga Lodge no. 519 for 15 years and has enjoyed every minute of his Masonic journey to date. He has served on two District Teams with two DDGM’s and is a past President of the Masters, Past Masters and Wardens Association of Brant District. He has served as District Chairman for Masonic Benevolence, The Masonic Foundation of Ontario and Local Charity.
